Description
The annual Hooker Furniture Warehouse Sale is scheduled for June 8th from 9am to 5pm at 8761 A.L. Philpott Highway (Highway 58 E), Martinsville, VA, 24112. Proceeds from this sale benefit the Martinsville-Henry County SPCA, Boys & Girls Club of the Blue Ridge, and United Way of Henry County & Martinsville.
Volunteers needed! Volunteers primarily carry and wrap furniture so it can be loaded for purchaser. All volunteers should wear light, comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. Volunteers are needed 9am to 5pm in three shifts: all day (9am-5pm), morning (9am-1pm), and afternoon (1pm-5pm).
All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt, $50 voucher for furniture at the sale, and free lunch provided by Hooker Furniture.
