Who We Are
We are a faith-based, temporary homeless shelter serving Danville, Virginia and the surrounding area. For over 10 years, the House of Hope has provided a safe refuge for those who don’t have a place to stay and who are in need of transitional assistance. We are conveniently located in downtown Danville.
What We Do
House of Hope is a transitional/emergency Homeless shelter that provides our guests a safe place to stay, good food to eat, and encouragement. We work with our guests to connect them with supportive resources in the region to assist them in their transition to permanent, stable housing. Our shelter offers refuge to anyone in need, and does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, political affiliation, or any other characteristics protected by federal, state, or local law.
