American Red Cross is committed to the Latino Festival this Saturday the 14th but the volunteer who usually covers the event is deploying out on disaster. Since it is last minute, we are looking to find a volunteer who can cover the event. We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to help at the beginning or end for set up or tear down.
Event Details:
Looking for 1-2 volunteers for the morning shift from 9am to 1pm (for set up between 9am - 10:30am and event starts at 11am) or for an afternoon shift 1pm to 5pm (tear down starting at 4pm).
Location: Patrick & Henry Community College on 645 Patriot Ave, Martinsville, VA, 24112
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Set up – pick up table, chairs, and tent from Red Cross office on 1081 Spruce St., Martinsville, VA 24112, drive to the venue and set up the “booth”
- Or Tear Down – Take the Table, Chairs, tent, and all tabling materials to the Red Cross office on 1081 Spruce St., Martinsville, VA 24112
- During event- hand out flyers and interact with community members, will have information on Red Cross Available
- We will follow up with a more detailed information packet after volunteer confirmation
